About Buddy Tech
We're on a mission to make pro-level coaching accessible to every athlete.
Our mission
Pro-level coaching for everyone.
At Buddy Tech, we believe every athlete deserves the kind of coaching that unlocks their potential, regardless of zip code, budget, or experience. Our mission is to place pro-level feedback within reach by pairing trusted coaching knowledge with accessible AI.
We're building more than software. We're crafting training companions that understand the nuances of each sport, celebrate progress, and keep families informed at every step. Whether you're practicing shots in the driveway or preparing for elite competition, Buddy Tech stands alongside you with data-driven insights and encouragement.
The technology
Built for performance and privacy.
Puck Buddy combines computer vision and AI-assisted coaching to review uploaded hockey drill videos. Videos are processed on our servers to produce drill-specific technique scores, movement metrics and feedback you can use in practice. Results and processing time depend on the drill and the quality of the video.
You choose which practice clips to upload and can manage coach sharing from your profile. Our cloud services and processing providers help deliver analysis and coaching. See our privacy policy for how videos, saved results and account data are handled, or contact support with a question or deletion request.
Video-based analysis
Upload a supported drill and follow its filming instructions. Server-side processing turns the clip into technique metrics and coaching feedback.
Drill-specific feedback
Review feedback for shooting, skating and goalie movement. AI feedback can be imperfect and supports the work you do with your coach.
Data-Driven Growth
We build a long-term development profile for every player. By tracking metrics over time, we create a clear, personalized plan to improve power, accuracy, and consistency.
The team
Built by athletes and engineers.
We're a team of builders, coaches, and former pros united by one mission: give every athlete access to the coaching they deserve.
